West Pier

I actually missed this! but this is the west pier lit up in ghost like fashion. Apparently its a promotion for tiger beer to coincide with the Chinese new year.

Les Arcs

We had a week in Les Arcs, the snow was fantastic (as it was at home!) Our apartment was lovely and warm and quiet (see Val Thorens!) with views of Mont Blanc.

Bowling with the O'Brays

Christmas Day

We spent this year at home on Christmas day......

Pooh Sticks

We went on a lovely walk in Ashdown forest, home of Winnie the Pooh.

Jackie and Darren visit

Jo's friend from school and Manchester came with her husband Darren for a visit to Brighton. I've never met them before but we all got on really well, we had a great weekend. Jo was I think rather excited at seeing her old pal and the free flowing wine went to her head, she performed a spectacular slow motion fall from the Pouffe!

A trip to Tuscany

So on Anna's advice we decided to stay at Varno's place. Such a peaceful spot, beautiful sunsets, friendly cats and dogs!! fine food, lovely swimming pool and trips out.

The O'Brays came to visit

It was great that the O'Brays came to visit us. The weather was kind so we managed to have lots of outdoor fun. Todd managed to get the kids to swim in the sea (Brrr)

2009 Catch up!!

Daytrippers

Eve & Andrew came for the day, we drank Pimms on the patio, went to the Booth museum, I thought I may have to rush out and get some air at one point. Had tea and cake at the Dyke Rd park cafe. Walked down to the seafront where they both had a paddle.

We had fish and Chips at the Regency (came in under Eve's budget) and beer at the fortune of war and the Caxton arms.

And in other news

Chris and Paul came for dinner we had a lovely time, the next day we went for a walk and then had lunch at pub du vin.

The art students of Brighton have been about town 'performing art'.

We have been exploring the Sussex countryside, I particularly like the pub lunches.

Rico Billy wants to buy this place and do it up.

Anish Kapour's sky Mirror

Off to Tring

We visited Trish and Phil in their barn conversion we had a lovely BBQ.

I should close my legs (particularly when photos are being taken)

In an attempt to walk off the many cakes we have been eating, we did a circular walk from Birling Gap taking in Beachy head.

Anna's visit

Anna, Byron and Ella came for their annual visit unfortunately they didn't bring the weather from Delhi this time. Normally the sun shines when they come but this year it was a little chilly. Still we had fun on the beach.

Fun in the park.
Played crazy golf

Went to Jamie Olivers restaurant

Fiona and Ena came to visit

We hope to see them again soon.
